Notebooks: All students need a 3-ring binder. All notes, classwork, homework, and handouts should be dated and labeled. Noteboks will be graded periodically and will count as a test grade.

Homework/Classwork: Homework and classwork will be given daily to reinforce the lessons. Homework and classrok will count as 40% of your grade. All homework will be graded on an effort basis only. Simply attempt all problems for an easy "A." No homework will result in an automatic "0." However, homework assignments will be randomly graded, if abuse of the above systems occurs.

Quizzes: You will take quizzes often. Some quizzes will be announced and otthers will be unannounced. Quizzes will count as 10% of your grade.

Tests: All tests will be announced at least 2 days in advance. Tests will count as 50% of your grade.

Make-up Work: Make-up work is your responsibility and must be scheduled with the teacher. Failure to make up work within 5 days of returning to class will result in a zero. Exceptions may be made in extreme circumstances.
